Let’s dance! Students will learn introductory hip hop movements and use their own creativity as they dance to age-appropriate music. Minimum 6 students required for class. 15 weeks. Taught by Sarah Wood

A fun, upbeat class, dancing to the latest age-appropriate music. We'll focus on improving flexibility and coordination while working on set choreography and improvisation. In this eleven-week series, learn Bollywood-inspired choreography in preparation to perform in Hubbard Hall’s June 13 dance showcase and other pop-up performances in the community. Additional rehearsals and performance dates to be scheduled by arrangement with the group. Mixed level class, open to all ages and levels of experience.

We will spend time on barre work, center combinations, and movements that travel across the floor. Students will continue to progress in their skills and quality of execution. Attire—Girls: black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Boys: Black shorts or pants, white t-shirt, black ballet shoes. 16-week class. Note: Dance Showcase will be on Saturday, June 13th. Join Illustrator Darcy May for a 15-class series for aspiring student artists focusing on drawing and sketching. Classes are student-driven and will include learning about drawing materials and tools, observation and noticing, sketching, drawing, shading, lighting, and life-drawing alternating with imaginative fairytale/fantasy drawing and illustrating. New and returning students welcome! Materials fee included.
15 weeks. No classes on Feb. 17, April 7 and May 5.

Students will continue to learn soft shoe beginner jig and reel steps, in addition to elements of figure dances. They will also work toward performing a jig choreography in the June showcase. New students should wait until September to sign up unless they first receive permission from the instructor. Please contact Hubbard Hall to inquire further. Experience tranquility with moments of quiet stillness, invigorate your body to release excess energy, and unwind as you prepare for the evening ahead. This practice incorporates fundamental yoga postures to align, strengthen, and enhance flexibility and balance within your body. Minimum 6 students required for class. Taught by Jenette Wilkinson

This 16-week class introduces young dancers to the basic movements of ballet. They will learn the foundational movements of ballet at a fun, easy pace. Special consideration is given to the attention span of children in this age group by incorporating dancing games and imagination. Attire—Girls: pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Boys: Black shorts or pants, white t-shirt, black ballet shoes. Note: Dance Showcase will be on Saturday, June 13th. Taught by Lindsay Shaner

This 16-week class will continue emphasizing previous skills and introduce new steps and terminology, and will encourage expression and musicality. Girls' attire: Pink ballet slippers, pink tights; any color leotard. Boy's attire: black shorts or pants, white T-shirt, ballet shoes. Please check with the instructor before registering to ensure this is the appropriate level for your child. Note: Dance Showcase will be on Saturday, June 13th.

For ages 6 - 9, this 16-week class includes ballet and strength techniques, combined with fun and energetic dance steps. We will stretch, learn across-the-floor progressions and choreographed combinations, and have fun! Preferred attire: Leotards & tights (or leggings & tank tops) with jazz shoes. Join in a fun, creative, experience where you can learn techniques to add to your tool kit, have a safe space to use your intuition, and play with color, texture, and shape, to make artworks to contemplate and enjoy (some may be used for notecards!). All materials provided. Taught by Gabi Moore

With Rachel Sargood. This 16-week class is for students who have 1-2 years Irish dance experience or have completed beginner Irish step. In this class we will learn the Irish reel steps as well as work on proper dance technique. We will also learn the 2 Hand Reel choreography which we will then perform in the spring showcase on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

(Ages 9 - Adult)
This class is for students who have had 2-3 years Irish dance experience or have completed Advanced beginner 1. In this class we will work on learning higher steps in the reel as well as proper form. We will also learn the 2 hand reel choreography to perform in the spring showcase on Saturday, June 13th.
16 weeks, no classes on Feb. 20 and April 10.

This is for students ages 10-adult who have had at least 4-5 years Irish dance experience or have completed intermediate Irish dance 1. In this class we will learn the bonfire dance, as well as work on hardshoe in the treble jig that we will preform in the spring showcase.
Note: Dance Showcase will be on Saturday, June 13th. Taught by Rachel Sargood

This class is for students who have 5 or more years of Irish step dance experience or have completed Intermediate 2. In this class we will work on building strength to learn a slip jig choreography called Snowy Path. We will also learn a hardshoe choreography that we will perform in the spring showcase.
New students should wait until the fall term to register for classes, unless pre-approved by the instructor. Note: Dance Showcase will be on Saturday, June 13th. Taught by Rachel Sargood

This class is for students who have over 7 years Irish dance experience or have completed Advanced Irish 1. In this class we will learn a hardshoe choreography as well as learn the Mooney 3 hand reel choreography to perform in the spring showcase.

Recommended for beginning fencers, teen to adult, and younger students (ages 8 and up) with instructor permission.
