For over twenty years, this dynamic trio has earned a coveted spot on world, folk, and Celtic music stages, gaining a reputation for their unbridled energy, expert musicianship, and magnetic stage presence.
Having performed at prestigious events such as Celtic Connections in Scotland, the Tønder Folk Festival in Denmark, the National Folk Festival in Australia, and the Rain Forest Festival in Malaysia, Genticorum has captured the hearts of audiences across the globe. Known for their intricate fiddling, beautiful vocal harmonies, and exhilarating foot percussion, the trio combines traditional Québécois Celtic music with contemporary energy, bringing their unique sound to life in a way that delights audiences of all ages.
The trio is led by founding members Pascal Gemme (fiddle, mandolin, foot percussion, voice) and Yann Falquet (guitar, jaw harp, voice), two prominent figures in the Québécois music scene. Joining them since 2015 is Nicholas Williams (accordion, flute, voice), an accomplished multi-instrumentalist whose rhythmic style blends beautifully with the band’s folk traditions. Together, they weave intricate fiddle, flute, and accordion lines that pulse with the energy of their live performances.
