Youth Theater returns with Honk! JR., a heartwarming and hilarious adaptation of the beloved fable The Ugly Duckling. With a witty book and a charming score by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Mary Poppins), this award-winning musical is a celebration of being different and embracing what makes us special.

Ugly, the misfit duckling, looks quite different from his siblings, and the other farm animals make sure he knows it. Feeling out of place, he embarks on an unexpected journey of self-discovery, encountering a host of quirky characters—including a cunning Cat with his own plans—before realizing that being unique is something to be proud of. With a mix of humor, adventure, and touching moments, Honk! JR. is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.

Over four weeks, participants will explore acting, singing, and movement while preparing for a full-scale production complete with costumes, lights, and music. Whether your child is new to theatre or a seasoned performer, this program provides a fun and supportive environment to build confidence, make friends, and bring a fantastic story to life on stage.

Dates: July 7 - August 1, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Hubbard Hall and Outside
Tuition: $450 per student
