Youth Theater returns with Honk! JR., a heartwarming and hilarious adaptation of the beloved fable The Ugly Duckling. With a witty book and a charming score by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Mary Poppins), this award-winning musical is a celebration of being different and embracing what makes us special.
Over four weeks, participants will explore acting, singing, and movement while preparing for a full-scale production complete with costumes, lights, and music. Whether your child is new to theatre or a seasoned performer, this program provides a fun and supportive environment to build confidence, make friends, and bring a fantastic story to life on stage.

A fun afternoon filled with theatre games, activities, and music. Participants will spend three weeks rehearsing a full-scale musical production, to be performed with costumes, lights, and music. Beetlejuice JR. is a wacky theatrical party, featuring music and lyrics by Tony Award-nominee Eddie Perfect and a book by Tony Award-nominated pair Anthony King and Scott Brown. This Broadway hit was nominated for eight 2019 Tony Awards, including Best New Musical.

Plunge into the basics of improvisational sketch comedy in this class taught by professional actor/teacher/director/writer David Braucher. Utilizing proven techniques pioneered by Spolin, Sills, Johnstone and others, you will develop the verbal and physical skills necessary for spot improvisation. Drop-ins okay for the first week.

This class is for anyone looking to build on their own creativity in a supportive and fun environment. All experience levels welcome. Whether you are already a performer and are looking to build on that, or you would like to feel more comfortable speaking in front of a group of people, or you are just looking for a creative way to have fun, this class might be for you! Taught by Sasha Winters. Drop-ins okay for the first 2 weeks.
