Classes & Events

This 16-week class introduces young dancers to the basic movements of ballet. They will learn the foundational movements of ballet at a fun, easy pace. Special consideration is given to the attention span of children in this age group by incorporating dancing games and imagination. Attire—Girls: pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Boys: Black shorts or pants, white t-shirt, black ballet shoes. Note: Dance Showcase will be on Saturday, June 13th. Taught by Lindsay Shaner

This 16-week class will continue emphasizing previous skills and introduce new steps and terminology, and will encourage expression and musicality. Girls' attire: Pink ballet slippers, pink tights; any color leotard. Boy's attire: black shorts or pants, white T-shirt, ballet shoes. Please check with the instructor before registering to ensure this is the appropriate level for your child. Note: Dance Showcase will be on Saturday, June 13th.

A beginner/advanced beginner class. We will focus on fundamental tap steps, exploring different styles and rhythms. Girls' attire: black leotard, pink tights, black tap shoes; Boys attire: black shorts or pants, white T-shirt, black tap shoes. 16-week class. Note: Dance Showcase will be on Saturday, June 13th. Join Illustrator Darcy May for a 16-class series for aspiring student artists focusing on drawing and sketching. Classes are student-driven and will include learning about drawing materials and tools, observation and noticing, sketching, drawing, shading, lighting, and life-drawing alternating with imaginative fairytale/fantasy drawing and illustrating. New and returning students welcome! Materials fee included.
16 weeks, no classes February 18 and April 8

For ages 6 - 9, this 16-week class includes ballet and strength techniques, combined with fun and energetic dance steps. We will stretch, learn across-the-floor progressions and choreographed combinations, and have fun! Preferred attire: Leotards & tights (or leggings & tank tops) with jazz shoes.
