Join the talented young performers of the 2025 Youth Theater as they bring Honk! JR. to life on stage! Based on the beloved fable The Ugly Duckling, this heartwarming and hilarious musical tells the story of Ugly, a misfit duckling who embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Along the way, he meets a cast of quirky characters—including a cunning Cat with his own plans—before realizing that being different is something to celebrate.

With a witty book and a charming score by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Mary Poppins), this award-winning musical is a celebration of self-acceptance and embracing what makes us special. Packed with humor, adventure, and touching moments, Honk! JR. is sure to delight audiences of all ages!

Monday-Friday 12-4pm. Runs for 4 weeks. July 7 - August 1.
Week 4: July 28-August 1
$100 per week per student; $80 per week if coupled with a morning theater program. Scholarships are available.

Youth Theater returns with Honk! JR., a heartwarming and hilarious adaptation of the beloved fable The Ugly Duckling. With a witty book and a charming score by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Mary Poppins), this award-winning musical is a celebration of being different and embracing what makes us special.
Over four weeks, participants will explore acting, singing, and movement while preparing for a full-scale production complete with costumes, lights, and music. Whether your child is new to theatre or a seasoned performer, this program provides a fun and supportive environment to build confidence, make friends, and bring a fantastic story to life on stage.

Join us as we embark on an adventure full of imagination, creativity, and laughter. Over the course of two weeks, children ages 5-7 will have the opportunity to develop and perform their own original play based on a variety of books they will read during the program, bringing their unique and original ideas to life onstage. Through theater games, arts and crafts, and other hands-on activities, the students will work together to hone their artistic abilities, culminating in a fun performance for family and friends.
TWO SESSIONS: July 7 - 18 and July 21 - August 1. Monday-Friday 9am-12pm.
Performance: August 1 at 12:00 pm
