Classes & Events

We will spend time on barre work, center combinations, and movements that travel across the floor. Students will continue to progress in their skills and quality of execution. Attire—Girls: black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Boys: Black shorts or pants, white t-shirt, black ballet shoes. 16-week class. Note: Dance Showcase will be on Saturday, June 13th. Join Illustrator Darcy May for a 15-class series for aspiring student artists focusing on drawing and sketching. Classes are student-driven and will include learning about drawing materials and tools, observation and noticing, sketching, drawing, shading, lighting, and life-drawing alternating with imaginative fairytale/fantasy drawing and illustrating. New and returning students welcome! Materials fee included.
15 weeks. No classes on Feb. 17, April 7 and May 5.

Students will continue to learn soft shoe beginner jig and reel steps, in addition to elements of figure dances. They will also work toward performing a jig choreography in the June showcase. New students should wait until September to sign up unless they first receive permission from the instructor. Please contact Hubbard Hall to inquire further. Experience tranquility with moments of quiet stillness, invigorate your body to release excess energy, and unwind as you prepare for the evening ahead. This practice incorporates fundamental yoga postures to align, strengthen, and enhance flexibility and balance within your body. Minimum 6 students required for class. Taught by Jenette Wilkinson
