Jazz I (Ages 8 and up) Tuesdays, February 11-June 10, 2025—5:30-6:15 pm

(Previously titled Beginner Jazz) For ages 8 and up, this 16 week class includes ballet and strength techniques, combined with fun and energetic dance steps. We will stretch, learn across-the-floor progressions and choreographed combinations, and have fun! Preferred attire: Leotards & tights (or leggings & tank tops) with jazz shoes. (Previously titled Continuing Jazz) For returning students who have jazz experience (new students MUST receive instructor approval to sign up). This 16 week class focuses on more advanced jazz positions and combinations, and will include deep stretching and across the floor progressions. We will learn new choreography, combining foundational jazz techniques with fun and upbeat music! Preferred attire: Leotards & tights (or leggings & tank tops) with jazz shoes. Minimum 6 students required for class. Note: Dance Showcase will be on Saturday, June 14th. Taught by Lauren Herrington
