Our littlest dancers will be introduced to basic positions and movements of ballet while engaging their imaginations. They will learn the foundational movements of ballet at a fun, easy pace. Special consideration is given to the attention span of children in this age group by incorporating dancing games and imagination. Attire—Girls: pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Boys: Black shorts or pants, white t-shirt, black ballet shoes.

We’ll work on foundational barre, center, and across the floor skills. And still have time for freeze dance! Students will be introduced to the fundamental positions and movements of ballet, learn terminology, and begin to combine steps to form combinations. Girls' attire: black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Boys' attire: black shorts or pants, white T-shirt, ballet shoes.

For dancers with previous ballet experience. We’ll continue to work on learning new skills and improving technique. For children 7+ who have taken Ballet 1 or equivalent, this class will build on and expand ballet skills. Attire: pink ballet slippers, pink tights and any color leotard Boy's attire: Black shorts or pants, white t-shirt, ballet shoes.

*Must also be taking Ballet 2 or Ballet 3.
For students wanting to improve their technique. The focus will on all of the little details necessary to perform steps with excellence. The class will also focus on improving the strength and alignment necessary for eventually dancing on pointe. (This class will not be participating in the Dance Showcase in June).
Girls' attire: Pink ballet slippers, pink tights; any color leotard. Boy's attire: black shorts or pants, white T-shirt, ballet shoes.
9 weeks no classes on 11/11 and 11/25 and 2 other dates to be decided by instructor.

This class, for ages 10 and up by permission of the instructor, will continue emphasizing previous skills and introduce new steps and terminology, and will encourage expression and musicality. Girls' attire: Pink ballet slippers, pink tights; any color leotard. Boy's attire: black shorts or pants, white T-shirt, ballet shoes.

We will spend time on barre work, center combinations, and movements that travel across the floor. Students will continue to progress in their skills and quality of execution.
