Put on your dancing shoes and experience Zydeco dancing. Take a beginner lesson at 3pm and then enjoy live music by ZydeGroove and more dancing.

Get ready for some fun-lovin', two-steppin' fun when ZydeGroove brings its infectious, high-energy take on zydeco to Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, NY. Rooted in Louisiana Creole tradition and built to move you — come groove to some of the finest zydeco to be found anywhere north of New Orleans.
Great fun and no partner needed! 

Admission Fee: Over 40, $20. 40 & Under, $15. Student 21 & Under $10.

Soft-soled shoes recommended.  Snacks and water available.

About ZydeGroove

ZydeGroove formed in 2010, when accordionist Laren Droll brought a fresh, experimental take on zydeco to life in Nyack, NY — a sleepy Hudson River town where early gigs at neighborhood spots like The Old Fashioned and Olives quickly earned the band a devoted local following. As the lineup evolved, so did the sound, drawing dancers and listeners deeper into the infectious grooves rooted in Louisiana Creole tradition.

The band soon outgrew its hometown stages, bringing its high-energy sets to festivals and dance events across the Northeast — including the Bayou 'n Brooklyn Festival, Lake Placid Blues Festival, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Strawberry Park, the Dance Flurry, and at dances across the Northeast. 

Today, ZydeGroove is a six-piece band of seasoned musicians from across the region:
