Beacon Feeds Arts Studio (Yellow Building)

Participants join teaching artist, Gabi Moore, to make unique puppets each week with simple materials that they will transform into animated characters. They will begin with inspiring movements to suggest a creature or person. Then, building on imagination and memory, they will select materials to realize their vision. Using cardboard, hot glue, paint, and a range of other materials they will put together the following:

Week 1: Hand puppets with cloth sleeve
Week 2: Thai inspired Shadow Puppets on a stick
Week 3: Marionette
Week 4: Masks on Stick

Exhibit will be on March 30th.
