Youth Theater returns with Schoolhouse Rock Live! A fun morning filled with theatre games, activities, and music. Children will spend four weeks rehearsing a full-scale musical production to be performed with costumes, lights, and music. Directed by Katherine Danforth (The Wizard of Oz, James and the Giant Peach Jr.) and with Musical Direction by Richard Cherry, this show is a lively throwback to the Saturday morning educational cartoon series that had the whole nation singing along.
Dates: June 26 through July 21, 2023. Monday-Friday 9am-12pm. (No program on July 4)
Location: Hubbard Hall and Outside
Tuition: $450 per student.
Performances: Friday, July 21 at 7:00 pm & Saturday, July 22 at 2:00 pm
