The Men o' War Balladeers: Yuletide and Year's End - Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 7 pm

The Men o’ War Balladeers are pleased to celebrate the turn of the year at Hubbard Hall with a concert of seasonal folk ballads and carols. 
$10 Adults; $5 Students 18 and Under

Locally known for their harmonized sea shanties and Celtic ballads, the lineup will consist of: Michael Raffel, vocals; Shannon Teyha, vocals and acoustic guitar; and Kristoffer Andrew Ross, vocals, acoustic guitar, Irish bouzouki, and concertina.

Featuring traditional and contemporary folksongs from Ireland, England, Cornwall, Scandinavia, Canada, and the United States, they will mark the arrival of many winter festivals, including Christmas, New Year’s (Hogmanay), St. Stephan’s Day, Solstice, Twelfth Night, and others. Rare pieces from the Wexford Carol Cycle will be among those performed.
